Abstract ongzaqie No.1’ is a new early F 1 hybrid of eggplant. Fruits can be harvested in 45 days after transplanting. The fruit is slender and long with glossy dark purple. The yield was 52.5t·hm -2 with ave rage 265g per fruit in spring and summer. It is suitable to early culture in the region of Yangtze River.
