Abstract Results obtained in pot culture experiment indicate that there was a remarkable linear correlation between phosphorus level and biological yield of garlic(Allium sativum)in brown-yellow soil(y=7.64+8.72x,r=0.950),the effect of adding P 2 O 5 500mg per kilogram soil was better. In the case of phosphorus deficiency,application of phosphorus promoted the absorption of nitrogen and potassium.
