Abstract Grey desert soil has rich total potassium,but is short of available potassium. Using biopotassium and chemical potassium in grey desert vegetable soil can evidently promote growth enhance the ability of disease resistance increase early yield and total yield of vegetable crops and maintain or raise available P and K in soil. And application of biopotassium has several advantages such as low cost and no destroying of soil stracture as compared with chemical potassium.
