摘要： 采用大白菜自交不亲和系选育及杂种优势测定的方法，选育出大白菜一代杂种郑白４号。其特点：①多抗性：经人工接种鉴定，高抗病毒病，抗霜霉病、黑斑病，田间鉴定还抗软腐病。②丰产稳产：净菜产量７０９４．２～９７７９．０ｋｇ／６６７ｍ２，比对照豫白菜１号、丰抗７０增产８．３７％～３０．４０％。③品质佳：球叶含糖２．５％，粗纤维０．５７％。软叶率７０．６８％，熟食易烂，生食甜脆。④商品性状优：外叶浅绿，矮桩叠抱，结球紧实度达９８％。叶球黄白色，耐贮运。⑤高效益：１９９１～１９９４年在全国十余个省推广总面积４．０７万ｈｍ２，新增产值１．７６亿元。
