Abstract Incidence, type, average grade and integrated index of malformed fruit of seven tomato varieties were compared. Among these varieties, Xifen No. 3 was the highest in the occurence of malformed fruit. Jiafen No. 10 and Shenfen No. 3 were high. Dongnong 704 and Zhongshu No. 5 were low. L-402 and liaofenza No. 3 were the lowest.
