| Effect of Dry-heat Treatment of Different Temperature on Germination of Vegetable Seed |

Abstract The seeds of 5 vegetable varieties were treated under different temperatures for 8 hours，so as to find out the safe temperatures for of dry-heating different vegetable seeds．The results indicate that 70 ℃ is the safe temperature for all treated groups，and 80 ℃ is the safe temperature for sweet pepper（Capsicum annuum L.）seed‘Zhongjiao No.7’，cucumber（Cucumis sativus L.）seed‘Zhongnong No.14’，and celery（Apium graveolens L.）seed‘Vetula’．
