| Analysis of Influencing Factors on Melon Production and Operation Benefits
—Taking Xinjiang Melon Farmers as Example |

Abstract Taking 181 households of Xinjiang melon farmers as examples，on the basis of
investigation data，this paper carried out descriptive statistical analysis on the factors influencing
production and operating statusquo of melon. The paper adopted semilog multivariable linear regression
method, and systematically analyzed the factors influencing melon production and operation benefits
in Xinjiang，and the correlation between planting scale and benefit．The results indicate that the
benefits are influenced by planting pattern，production mode，planting scale and region selection，etc．
Accordingly，the paper puts forward suggestions in detail to improve the melon production and operation
benefits in Xinjiang.
