Abstract ‘Longlyu No.3’is a new cucumber F1 hybrid developed by crossing inbred line‘JZ161’as
female parent and inbred line‘4F’as male parent.Its plant has medium growth vigor.The fruits mainly
grow on the main vine.The first female flower sets on the 3-5th nodes.The fruit is of straight and rodlike
shape,and is about 30 cm in length with short stalk.Its peel is bright dark green in color with dense spines.
The flesh is green in color.Its VC content is 130.0 mg · kg-1,and soluble solids content is 3.31%.The plant
is resistant to downy mildew,powdery mildew,and blight.It can yield about 57 t · hm-2.It is suitable to be
planted in the Three Northeast Provinces and Inner Mogolia in protected fields in early spring.
