Abstract Meloidogyne enterolobii is causing increasingly severe damage to sweet pepper.The gene
widely used in nematode resistance breeding is gradually losing its inhibiting effect to Meloidogyne enterolobii.
It is urgently needed to excavate new germplasm resources resistant to Meloidogyne enterolobii.This
experiment inoculated Meloidogyne enterolobii to 31 sweet pepper(Capsicum annuum)grmplasms and
conducted identification on their disease resistance after 60 d.Using the 5 disease indexes of Gall Index,Egg
Mass Index,Disease Index,Reproduction Coefficient and Reproduction Index,and subordinative function
value method,this paper carried out comprehensive evaluation on the resistance of Meloidogyne enterolobii
of these tested germplasm.The screened out sweet pepper germplasm resources with strong resistance were
06SCa69-S,06SCa52-1,06SCa67M,06SCa66M and 06SCa78-2,etc..
