Prevention and Control Effect of Rhodovulum sulfidophilus and Thiamethoxam Combination Against Tomato Viral Disease |

Abstract The experiment on tomato viral disease prevention and control was performed in Chifeng City,Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region for 2 consecutive years from 2019 to 2020.By the methods of spraying Rhodovulum sulfidophilus HNI-1 and root-dipping(irrigating roots)with thiamethoxam, the experiment had improved the prevention and control effect on tomato viral disease from the angles of controlling virus vector Bemisia tabaci and enhancing plant resistance.Two years prevention experiment results showed that the disease index of tomato viral disease was all controlled below 1.6,and the number of B. tabaci per tomato plant was maintained under 6.The control experimental results also showed that comparing with the contrast,15 days after medication the viral disease symptom was obviously relieved,and disease index was significantly reduced to 5.94-7.48.The number of B. tabaci per tomato plant was reduced to 64.3-84.3,indicating that this prevention and control technique could effectively control tomato viral disease.
