Abstract Heavy metal pollution in soil of producing area will directly affect vegetables yield and quality,and endanger human health through food chain.At present,vegetables heavy metal remedition technology is mostly in research stage.A systematic pollution prevention model has not yet been formed,and there are few large-scale applications.This paper carried out review from following 4 aspects:monitoring producing area environment,controlling original source,reducing bio-availability of heavy metals,and adjusting vegetable plantation structure,so as to provide theoretical support for constructing a prevention technical system for heavy metal pollution in vegetable production areas.
