Abstract ‘Jinxiangla No.1’is a new chili pepper three-line hybrid developed by crossing male sterility line‘Danshenlixiang A’as female parent and inbred line‘Y203’as male parent.It is of medium maturity,and its growth period is about 173 days.Its height is about 71 cm,and width is about 64 cm.Its fruit is fingershaped,grows singly and upward.The old ripe fruit is bright red in color with smooth surface.Its fruits are uniform in size.The fruit is about 5.9 cm in length,0.8 cm in width,and 3.5 g in weight.Its VC content is 1 405.7 mg·kg-1,and capsaicin content is 1 430.0 mg·kg-1.The average fruit number per single plant is 182.It can yield about 25.35 t·hm-2 in fresh pepper,and about 6 t·hm-2 in dried pepper.It is highly resistant to Phytophthora blight,middle resistant to anthracnose.This variety is suitable for planting in Guizhou region.
