Abstract Two kinds of pathogens,Fusarium oxysporum f.sp.melongenae and Verticillium dahliae,were isolated from wilted eggplant in part of Beijing area.The results showed that in PSA medium,for Fusarium oxysporum f.sp.melongenae and Verticillium dahliae,the optimum growth temperature is about 20-25 ℃,pH 6-7.Hyphae of Fusarium oxysporum f.sp.melongenae were thick in PDA medium.Hyphae of Verticillium dahliae grew rapidly in VBC medium.The optimum nitrogen source for Fusarium oxysporum f.sp.melongenae was peptone,the op...
