Abstract Kaixuan is a new watermelon F1 hybrid with mid-maturity.It has 105 days of the whole growth period and 33 days of fruit developing period.The variety has oval-shaped fruits with fruit index of 1.43,green stripe skin.The central soluble solid contents is 12.4 %.The average watermelon weighs 7-8 kg and the average output is 52.5 t·hm-2.The thousand seed mass is about 68 g.
