Abstract The literature of Chinese cabbage were reviewed and revised.AFLP technique was used for analyzing and comparing the genome relationship between Chinese cabbage and turnip by cluster analysis.The F3 population from the cross of Zhongqingmaye(Chinese cabbage)with Siyueman(pakchoi)existed many different morphological individuals and white seedlings.The F9(selfed progeny)occured variation of overlaped head leaf.
