Abstract In this paper five strains of Arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi(AMF) inoculums were used in organic soil before tomato seed sowing. The results showed that tomato plant with AMF inoculated had higher dry matter production and more nutrient uptake than control plant without AMF inoculums. AMF strains Glomus mosseae-1 and G.mosseae-2 had higher AMF infection rate than other AMF strains, and G.mosseae-2 had the highest Arbuscule percentage in root samples, so G.mosseae-2 can be used as suitable inoculums in tomato ...
