Abstract The studies showed that populations of Spodoptera exigua (Hübner) infecting different crops had different sensitivity for insecticides. The population collected from Chinese cabbage was more sensitive to insecticides than that from cowpea. The largest differences of sensitivity were observed for chlorfluazuron and chlorfenapyr, which were 5.37 and 4.07-fold.
