    A pot trial was conducted to investigate effects of molybdenumMoon leaf colornutritional quality and nitrate contents in Chinese cabbage.The results showed that Mo application could promote the growth of Chinese cabbageincrease its yieldraise the contents of chlorophylland could change the leaf color to dark green.Mo application remarkably increased the contents of Moascorbatesoluble sugar and soluble protein in Chinese cabbage.Mo application also raised the contents of both essential and non-essential amino acids needed by human body in Chinese cabbagethus improved its nutritional quality.Mo application could significantlly reduce the nitrate contents in Chinese cabbageand alsoit would improve the edible safety of Chinese cabbage in certain level.In this trialMo level of 0.300 mg·kg-1 had the best effect.

    The reaction of cucumber seedlings to low temperature stress was studied when it was treated by 2.0×10-3 g•mL-1 chill resistance agent under the temperature day/night(6±0.2)℃.The results showed that chill resistance agent could delay the decrease of chlorophyll content,and also maintain activities of anti-oxidative enzymes,such as SOD and CAT,in higher level,under the stress.The agent could weaken the accumulation of MDA,maintain the integrity of cell membrane.At the same time,the osmotic substance(soluble sugar and praline)contents in cucumber seedlings leaves were significant higher than the control group and the chilling tolerance of cucumber seedlings was increased.

    Three indexes as field population density,number of injured/all and injury index of leaf,were used to evaluate resistance of Bradysia odoriphage of Chinese chive.Systematic clustering analysis was carried on of the resistance to Bradysia odoriphage for 20 Chinese chive varieties.The result showed that there were differences among resistances to Bradysia odoriphage of different varieties.Varieties of‘Yujiu No.1’and‘9-2’had the strongest resistance,while‘Xuejiuwang’,‘Zhuganqingjiucai’,‘91-2’and‘Kuanjiuwang’had the highest susceptibility to Bradysia odoriphage with poor insect resistance,and resistance of the rest varieties were between the two above.Correlation analysis on the three resistances indicated that there were significant correlations within different indexes.

    Efficiency comparing of ginger storage methods was carried on between micro energy-saving refrigerator and self-designed cold box.Results showed that the ginger damaging rate of cold box storage method1.73 %is 0.08 percentage points lower than that of micro type refrigerator1.81 %.The cost is 34.57 Yuan per 1 000 kg fresh ginger by cold box storage methodand which is 166.78 Yuan per 1 000 kg fresh ginger by micro type refrigerator.The former can save 132.23 Yuan than the latter.Which means that cold box storage method is a practical method with high efficiency and low cost.

    The female parent 05YB17 is a good inbred line selected from CCJ01-5an introduced germplasm from abroadafter multi-generations of intercrossing and backcrossing.The male parent is a good inbred line selected from CCJ98-4an introduced variety from abroadafter multi-generations of intercrossed and backcrossing with local variety of Capsicum chinense Jacquin in Hainan.This hybrid takes about 80 days from sowing to blossoming and about 142 days from sowing to harvesting.It has strong growth vigor.The plant height is 55-60 cmthe highest can be 130 cm.The max plant diameter is 90 cm.The follower numbers range from 3 to 10 more inserted in each node of the branch.Immature fruit shows green or green-white and the mature fruit is yellow or dark yellow.The fruit is about 5.6 cm in length3.9 cm in width.The single fruit weight is 14.6 g.Normally there are 1-3 fruits in each node of the branchand sometimes 4-6 fruits in each node.Generally it can yield 130 fruits in a single plant and its yield is about 45 t·hm-2.It is resistant to CMV.The total content of capsaicinoids in fresh fruit is 11.30 mg·g-1and the pungent degree of fresh fruit is 174 212 SHU.

    Dongnong 712is a new midlater maturing tomato F1 hybriddeveloped by crossing 01HN37 as male parent with 01HN43 as female parent.It takes 117 days from sowing to harvesting.It has high resistance to ToMVleaf moldFusarium wilt and Verticillium wilt.The fruit is global.Its average fruit weight is 240-300 g.The average firmness of fruit is 0.49 kg·cm-2.It has good commodity character for storage and transportation.The average yield is 97.5-127.5 t·hm-2.It is suitable for uncovered field cultivation and protected cultivation.

    Jinyou No.38is a new cucumber F1 hybrid of excellent inbred lines released by crossing B180-2 as female parent and XL6-3 as male parent.The fruit is crisp and sweet with white spine and straight bar.The first female flower appears in the 5th-7th node.The female node rate is about 40 %.The fruit is 32-35 cm in length with about 180 g of average single fruit weight.Its total yield is 150.0 t·hm-2 in solar greenhouse cultivation in winter.It is high resistant to target leaf spot and anthracnoseresistant to Fusarium wiltand middle resistant to downy mildew and powdery mildew.It is suitable for cultivation in solar greenhouse over winter and in solar greenhouse in winter and spring in north Chinanortheast and northwest China.

    ‘Fuza No.2’is a new tumorous stem mustard F1 hybrid developed by crossing a CMS line 96154-5A as female parent and a self line 920145 as male parent.It has distinctive yield heterosis,good quality and processing characteristics,with tumorous stem of round shape and compact plant type.It can be sown in the last 10 days of August(15 days earlier than normal)and be harvested in the first or middle 10 days of Jan(45 days earlier than normal).It is suitable for cultivation in Sichuan basin.Its yield is generally 37.5-45.0 t·hm-2 and could even higher than 52.5 t·hm-2.
