  Effect of GA3 and MS Medium Ratio Treatments on Spore Germination of Wild Brake

  In order to study the effect on spore germination of wild brake〔Pteridium aquilinum(L.)Kuhn.〕,GA3 300 mg·L-1 and different MS medium ratios treatments were set.The results showed that GA3 300 mg·L-1 could promote the spore germination earlier and could increase the gemination rate of spore which was collected in the last year,but there was no visible impact on the gemination rate of spore which was collected in the current year.The complete MS medium was optimal for spore germination.

  Five tomato lines,TS19(ph+),TS33(ph-1),W.Va 700(ph-1,2),L3708(ph-3,4)and LA1033(ph-5),were used as differential hosts to identify the physiological races of six Phytophtora infestans strains collected from Shenyang,Xinmin and Xiuyan of Liaoning province.Three races of T0,T1 and T1,2 were found out.Two breeding lines of CLN2037G and CLN2037H were resistant to race T1,2.Eight breeding lines and five varieties planted in Liaoning province were all susceptible to physiological race T1,2.

  Hacaidou No.8 is a new kidney bean variety developed by system selection after crossing 96-9 with Zihuayoudou.It is early maturity and takes about 55 days from sowing to harvest.The tender pod is green,flat shape,13 cm in length,2 cm in width,18 g in weight.The pod has less fibre with good taste.It has stronger resistance to anthracnose than Zihuayoudou.Its yield is about 30 t·hm-2.It is suitable for both protected and open field cultivation.

  Chonghua No.2 is a new middle-late maturing cauliflower F1 hybrid developed by crossing two good quality self lines D8 and W12.It can be planted in autumn and the growth period is about 100 days.It grows vigorously.The leaf with short petiole is green.The internode is compact.The flower-curd with white,tight and highly semicircle is covered by inside leaves.Average single curd weight is about 2 kg.Its yield is about 37.5 t·hm-2.
