    After stopping cold storage in different time,the characteristic of clove bud growth of garlic Songchengdasuan were observed.The results showed that the clove bud growth rate was associated with both starting time and stopping time of cold storage.On the same time of stopping cold storage,clove bud which started cold storage earlier had lower growth rate.On the same time of starting cold storage,clove bud which stopped cold storage later had more rapid growth rate.

    Shihong No.9 is a newmedium-maturity processing tomato F1hybrid,with 3071 -3 -5 and 3072 -4 as par-ents.It has large size bell-shaped fruit(82 g)with excellent color and is suitable for transportation and storage.The soluble sol-id content is 4.9 %;lycopene content is 154.8 mg·kg-1(FW);total sugar content is 3.2 %;total acid content is 0.27 %;dry matter content is 5.92 %.It yields 97.5 t·hm-2.It has been extended in Northwest China with total area of 3 600 hm2.

    Linjiao No.1 is a new hot pepper F_1 hybrid by crossing excellent inberd line 94-18 from Jianjiao No.22 with inberd line 94-33 from Xiong ao 804.The fruit is ox-horn shaped,23.0 cm in length,3.0 cm in width,40-60 g in weight,and 0.3 cm in flesh thickness,with strong pungent.The first harvest occurs 60 days after transplanting.The average yield is 42.9 t·hm -2.It has higher resistance to blight,virus and anthranose than Jianjiao No.22.The fruit is suitable for fresh and process.

    Jinzichangqie is a F_1 hybrid developed by crossing self-line 104-126-43-18 selected from Linyizichangqie with self-line 237-9-27-11 selected from Liulinchangqie.The fruit is long tube shaped,bright purple skin,500 g in weight,with tender and white soft flesh,excellent taste and good quality.It takes 15-20 days from flowering to harvest.It yields 75 t·hm -2.It has higher resistance to verticillium wilt than Duanbahei.It is suitable to be cultivated in spring and summer.
