    The results indicated that low night temperature in tomato seedling stage increased incidence,average grade and intergated index of malformed fruit,as well as the types of them. It was found that the critical temperature which induced high incidence of malformed fruit was between 6~12℃,the 10th~16th days after the two cotyledons fully expanded.     Results obtained in pot culture experiment indicate that there was a remarkable linear correlation between phosphorus level and biological yield of garlic(Allium sativum)in brown-yellow soil(y=7.64+8.72x,r=0.950),the effect of adding P 2 O 5 500mg per kilogram soil was better.     The path analysis in this paper showed that high CO 2 concentration of root zone under the plastic film mulch was the major factor which limited the activities of roots and leaves of tomatoes. Perforated film mulch improved soil aeration,decreased the CO 2 concentration of root zone,remarkably delayed senescence of the plants,accelerated the photosynthesis of leaves and supply capacity of roots,and eventually resulted in high early yield and total yield.

    Experiments were conducted to compare four planting patterns in three kinds of solar greenhouses. The results showed that even in the coldest January the temperature in the three kinds of greenhouses was over 4℃.     Ten important agronomic characters of 1192 accessions of yardlong bean(Vigna unguiculata ssp. sesquipadalis)genetic resources were investigated. Very high level of variance existed among these varieties for all the characters studied,including pod length,pod weight,pod shape,pod color and seed coat color etc. . And some special accessions,for example,erect bush types,extremely early maturity,long pods over 70cm,single pod weight over 25 grams,and 100 seed weight over 19 grams,were detected.
