    The research progress in strawberry anthracnose at home and abroad was expounded
    comprehensively from classification of strawberry anthracnose, biological characteristics of its pathogen, disease
    symptoms, occurrence regularity, prevention and control methods. The paper also introduced the current major
    methods for strawberry anthrax prevention and control from the aspects of agriculture, chemical, biological control
    and genetic, etc. Before ending, the paper prospected the direction of future research.

          In the autumn of 2013, leaves of greenhouse-grown tomato plants showed symptoms of interveinal
    chlorosis, and together with stunted, marginal curling and crumpling. As the disease progressed, leaves become
    thick and crisp, similar to symptoms induced by Tomato chlorosis virus( ToCV) and Tomato yellow leaf curl
    virus
    ( TYLCV) were collected from greenhouse-grown tomato plants in Shouguang, Shandong Province. The
    specific primer pairs of CP-F/CP-R specific to ToCV and TY1-R/TY1-F,TY2-R/TY2-F,TY3-R/TY3-F
    specific to TYLCV were used to detect ToCV and TYLCV, respectively. 774 bp( GenBank accession number:
    KC709510) and 2 781 bp( GenBank accession number: KJ546418) specific fragments were amplified from the
    same symptomatic samples. Sequence analysis of the amplified sequence of KC709510 showed 99.6% nucleotide
    sequence identity with ToCV-BJ( KC311375) isolates and the sequence of KJ546418 showed 99.6% nucleotide
    sequence identity with TYLCV-SDWF-L7( KC999850) isolates registered in the GenBank.

    To clarify the characteristics and inheritance of cabbage(Brassica oleracea L. var. capitata L.)
    glossy wax-less mutant LD10,the major agronomic characteristics and nutrient contents of LD10 were tested,
    and ultra-structures of leaves in mutant material LD10 and normal material 21-3 were measured,observed
    and comparatively analyzed. LD10 and 21-3 were taken as parent to construct 6 generations population,and
    inheritance analysis onthe glossy wax-less characteristics of LD10 was conducted. The results showed that there
    was little wax on the leaves of LD10,while the wax on the leaves of 21-3 was abundent,and the granular wax in
    LD10 was of long stick shape,significantly different from the wax in 21-3. The glossy wax-less trait in cabbage
    LD10 was controlled by one single recessive gene named cgl-4. One molecular marker(LT-SSR16)linked to
    cgl-4 with genetic distances 4.7 cM. Another F1 population obtained through crossing LD10 and 10Q-961 showed
    that the genes leading to glossy wax-less trait were at different locations in the two glossy wax-less materials.

    Tomato( Solanum lycopersicum L.)micro-TOM is a model organism for biology study. Its regeneration
    system in vitro is of vital importance for genetic transformation and developmental biology study. But tomato micro-TOM
    tissue culture is not only time-consuming and tedious, but also frequently polluted by microorganism. This experiment
    introduces a new method of regeneration system in vivo by removing axillary and apical buds of tomato. The method has
    high speed and efficiency, and does not rely on exogenous hormone. It has layed a foundation for simplifying tomato
    genetic transformation and provided a good material for plant regeneration mechanism study.

    The study about planting Flammulina velutipes was conducted by taking Chinese prickly ash
    branch as raw material.The result showed that the formulation with 45% Chinese prickly ash branch was suitable for Flammulina velutipes cultivation. The average yield and biologic efficiency of Flammulina velutipes fruiting\
    body planted with Chinese prickly ash branch as the main raw material was slightly lower than that planted with the
    cottonseed hulls as the main raw material.But Ca and Fe contents were significantly higher in the fruiting body
    grown on Chinese prickly ash branch than that grown on cottonseed hulls.There were no significant differences in
    the contents of Mg,Cu,Zn, protein, fiber,ash and sugar contents of the fruiting body grown between Chinese
    prickly ash branch and cottonseed hulls.For the total amino acids contents and essential amino acids,the fruiting
    body planted with Chinese prickly ash branch were richer than that planted with cottonseed hulls.Chinese prickly
    ash branch may be used as raw material for planting Flammulina velutipes,which was proved to reduce the
    production cost and improve the ratio of input and output.

    Micro-climate observation and vegetable field experiment were carried out during 2009-2013
    in mountains areas of Southwest Hubei at different altitudes. Spatial and temporal variation characteristics of
    meteorological elements such as temperature, precipitation, evaporation was analyzed. The correlation of yield,
    quality of pepper, lettuce, and other vegetables, and meteorological conditions were also analyzed. The result
    showed that in the sustain duration with ≥ 5 ℃、≥ 10 ℃、≥ 15 ℃ the decreasing rate with height increasing
    per 100 m were 4.8 days,5.5 days,6.8 days,respectively. The precipitation and humidity index increased
    with height increasing. The fruit setting number of single pepper plant(thermophilic vegetable)and per unit
    area yield both have significant relation with the duration of days ≥ 15℃ in the flowering and fruiting stage. The
    contributions of each additional day to single plant fruit setting number and yield per unit were 0.32 and 1.10 t·hm-2
    respectively. The most suitable planting conditions for warm season vegetables were height between 800-1 200 m,
    temperature ≥ 15 ℃, sustaining for 100-130 days. There was no summer above 1 600 m hight,where was the
    suitable planting area for hardy vegetables.

    Taking soil for 5 years continnous cucumber cropping as material and utilizing pot culture method,
    this experiment adopted 4 treatments: no soybean straw returning to the field(CK); inoculation rhizobium
    soybean straw returning to the field(T1); inoculation rhizobium soybean straw with no root nodule returning to
    the field(T2); no inoculation rhizobium soybean straw returning to the field(T3),and studied the effect of
    these treatments on soil sucrase activity and microbe quantity under different field moisture capacity. The results
    showed that the fungi quantity in T1 was significantly lower than CK in 25%、50% field moisture capacity for 50
    to 140 days,and bacterial quantity maintained a high level in prophase of cultivation(< 50 days). Under 75%
    field moisture capacity,actinomyces quantity of the returning treatments was significantly higher than the control.
    In a word,25%,50% field moisture capacity could make the bacterial quantity maintaining a high level,and
    reducing fungus quantity,the returning treatments were better than no returning treatments,inoculation rhizobium
    treatments were better than no inoculation rhizobium treatments. The actinomyces quantity maintained a high level
    under 75% field moisture capacity in late culture stage(> 110 days).

    ‘Zhongbai 61’ is a Chinese cabbage F1 hybrid with early maturity developed by crossing selfincompatible
    lines of B80067 and B80032.Its growing period is about 60 days.The plant is semi-erect with
    compect plant type and green outer leaves. The plant is 36.5 cm in height and 56.0 cm in width.Its head is 27.3
    cm in height,15.4 cm in diameter. The head is of short cylinderical shape.The average net head weight is about
    2.2 kg.Its net vegetable rate is 72% and head shape index is 1.8. Its yield is about 82.5-90.0 t ·hm-2.It is
    resistant to virus disease,downy mildew and black rot.It has high yield potential and is suitable to be cultivated
    in Hebei,Shandong, Liaoning Provinces and Beijing in late summer and early autumn.

        ‘Haifengchangqie No.1’ is a new long eggplant F1 hybrid developed by crossing double haploid
    line 02-QP-19 as female parent and inbred line A-40 as male parent. This variety has strong growth vigor. Its leaf
    is green,and leaf vein,leaf stalk and main stem are purple in color.The average fruit is 31.5 cm in length,4.5
    cm in diameter. The single fruit weight is 220 g.Its fruit peel is black-purple and glossy.The average VC and VP
    contents are 23.2 mg·kg-1 and 0.035%,respectively. Its yield is about 75 t·hm-2.It is suitable to be cultivated
    in open fields in Beijing,Jilin and Heilongjiang Provinces.

    ‘Xinfan No.48’ is an early maturing processing tomato F1 hybrid developed by crossing F19-3-1-
    1 as female parent and TD-06-2 as male parent. It is suitable for mechanical-harvest or manual one-time harvest.
    It takes 87 days for growing period. The plant is of open type with dark green leaves. The plant is 65 cm in hight with
    6-7 branches. The first inflorescence usually sets at the 7th node. Its fruit is of oval shape with shinning deep red
    color. The fruit shape index is 1.2. Its average single fruit weight is 70-75 g. The lycopenr content is 123 mg·kg-1
    soluble solid content is 4.64 %, and total acid is 0.38%. Its fruits can stand heavy pressure and tolerant to storage
    in field condition. Its average yield can reach over 120 t·hm-2. It is suitable to be planted in Northern and Southern
    Xinjiang and Gansu Provinces. It is good for producing tomato paste.

    ‘Hadafen 801’ is a new tomato F1 hybrid developed by crossing inbred lines fy-511-nf-111 as
    female parent and jg-811123 as male parent. This variety belongs to unlimited growth type. The plant has ordinary
    leaf with compact plant type. It is suitable for close planting. Its fruit is of round shape. The matured fruit is pink
    in color with equal size. The single fruit weight is about 220 g. It is of early maturity. It is resistant to leaf mold and
    middle resistant to virus disease. Its yield is about 97.5 t ·hm-2.It is suitable for protected field cultivation in
    North China.

    ‘Jingcui No.1’ is a new radish F1 hybrid bred by crossing self-incompatible line 05132 and 05177.
    This variety can be harvested 75-80 days after sowing. The plant is semi-erect with dark green leaves nearly
    without lobelets. The root is of oval round shape,13 cm in length,12 cm in diameter. The single root weight is 1.2
    kg. The depth of root under ground is 1/4 and the exterior color is green and white. The light-green flesh is crispy
    and juicy. Its VC content is 380 mg·kg-1(FW),and glucoslnolate content is 318.8 μmol·kg-1(FW). The
    yield is 75-90 t·hm-2. It has higher resistance to virus disease and soft rot than the cotrol‘Mantanghong’ in field.
    It is good for eaten raw. This variety is suitable for cultivation in Beijing,Tianjin,Hebei and Shandong Province.

    ‘Bicui 18’ is a new cucumber F1 hybrid bred by crossing 0714-2-4-6-3 as maternal parent and
    0701-2-2-22-1 as paternal parent.‘ Bicui 18’ has strong growth vigor. The fruit is produced on its main branch.
    The fruit is in uniform shape and size. It is tolerate to low temperature and weak light. It can bear fruit continuousely
    and has remarkable high yield potential. The single plant can harvest over 50 melons. Its melon is of short type and
    is light green in color. The commercial melon is 13.5-15.5 cm in length and about 2.5 cm in diameter. The single
    fruit weight is 75-85 g. Its melon tastes crisp and light sweet. It is resistant to powdery mildew and Fusiarium wilt,
    mid-resistant to downy mildew. It can yield over 82.5 t· hm-2. It is suitable for protected cultivation in east China,
    south China and certain areas of central China.

    Jinlyu’ is a Chinese kale F1 hybrid developed by crossing male sterile line S6-3-2A as female
    parent,and inbred line G028-3-3 as male parent.‘ Jinlyu’ is an early-medium maturing cultivar. It takes 61 days
    from sowing to first harvest. The plant has strong growth vigor,erect and compact plant type. Its leaf blades are of
    oval round shape with dark green color. The leaf stalk is short. Its head is large in size. It tastes crspy and sweet with
    less fiber. It has good commercial characteristics and superior guality. Its major sprout is 23.5 cm in height,2.3 cm
    in diameter,and about 165.0 g in weight.‘ Jinlyu’ grows vigorously and is highly resistant to stress. Its resistance
    to downy mildeu and soft rot is better than the contrast‘ Lyubao’. It can yield 15.5-30.0 t·hm-2. It is suitable to
    be planted all over the China.

    ‘Shengsong 60’ is a F1 hybrid of spring cauliflower of loosely type developed by crossing S-09-6
    as male parent,and self-incompatible line 02-9-9 as female parent. It takes about 60 days from planting in spring
    to harvest. Its plant has strong growth vigor,and is of compact and erect type. Its leaves are dark green in color
    with medium wax and short petiole. Its head is white,loose,flat round with long green stems. The head is 25.5
    cm in diameter and 13.8 cm in height. The single ball weight is about 1.32 kg. It can yield about 40.5 t·hm-2. It is
    suitable to be cultivated in spring in Hebei,Henan,Shandong,Jiangsu and Liaoning Provinces and Beijing,
    Tianjin.
