In order to explore the characteristics of fruit vegetable production in Beijing,this study used descriptive statistical method to analyze the survey data gained from on spots investigation of fruit vegetable farmer households in Beijing.Then on this base,this paper studies how planting scale,planting technique,circulation channel,market infrastructure construction,farmer cooperative and supporting policy on vegetable production affect fruit vegetable production and management.This study also compares the fruit vegetable production in 2012 with that in 2015,so as to study the development and change of fruit vegetable production in Beijing in recent 4 years from a dynamic perspective.The major conclusions are as following:1)business entity of fruit vegetable production and management in Beijing is farmer households of small scale,2)there is a remarkable aging tendency in farmer households engaged in vegetable production,3)there is a growing requirement for new planting technology,4)the land scale, planting technology,market infrastructure construction and government policies have significant positive effect on vegetable production,5)government support for fruit vegetable industry is consistently increasing.
Horticulture crops grown in protected facilities were more sensitive to root zone temperature than to air temperature and changes in root zone temperature could cause drastic physiological and ecological changes in crops. This paper systematically summarized the effects and function machenism of root zone temperature on physiological ecology of root system and canopy of crops grown in protected facilities. The paper reviewed the progress made in studying the method and technology for adjusting root zone temperature, the existing problems. Before ending, it also prospected the future research direction.
Recently,a mass outbreak of tomato bacterial pith necrosis occurred in Guangxi,except bacterial wilt,Fusarium wilt and root-knot nematode.This experiment compared and identified 20 pieces of tomato rootstock material from Guangxi,and screened rootstock material with multi-resistance to tomato bacterial pith necrosis.The results indicated that rootstocks T034 and T103 were not only resistant to bacterial wilt,Fusarium wilt and root-knot nematode,but also to bacterial pith necrosis,belonging to multi-resistance polymerization material.
For in-depth understanding the feature and correlation of seed phenotypic traits of faba bean germplasm resources,comprehensive analyses were conducted in combination with correlation analysis,principal component analysis and cluster analysis,etc. taking domestic and overseas 554 sets purified for 1 generation of faba bean germplasm resources by insect nets as material,on seed phenotypic traits obtained from digital equipment of seed examination. The results revealed that the tested seed phenotypic traits of faba bean germplasm resources had a wide range variation and rich genetic diversity,especially in the trait of 100-seed weight. Correlation analysis found that there was high correlation among 6 phenotypic traits of seed,including 100-seed weight,seed projection area,perimeter,seed length,seed width and diameter;and the correlation coefficients were greater than 0.80,reaching extremely significant level. The principal component analysis of 8 quantitative traits showed that the component contribution rate of the former 3 components were 74.60%,23.09% and 1.70%, respectively,with the cumulative contribution rate of 99.39%,almost covering the whole information of the quantitative traits of the tested seeds. The variation of the above mentioned 6 phenotypic traits contributed largely to the first principal component,which were all seed size characters. The cluster analysis showed that all the tested material were classified into 3 groups associated with sowing time and geographical origin to some extent. Based on the comprehensive analyses of seed phenotypic traits,11 genotypes with nearly spherical seeds and 8 genotypes with high yield potential resources were selected for faba bean genetic improvement suitable for mechanized production,and vegetable faba beans with high yield.
Through multiple spots experiments from 2014-2015, this study carried out test for screening low cadmium accumulation watermelon varieties on cadmium polluted soil,and analyzed the cadmium contents in watermelon vine,leaf,root and fruits.The results showed that the average cadmium content in vine was 0.057 0 mg·kg-1,in leaf was 0.062 1 mg·kg-1,in root was 0.054 8 mg·kg-1,in fruit was 0.009 2 mg·kg-1 .The cadmium contents in fruit of tested watermelon varieties were all below GB18406.1—2001 Agricultural Product Safety and Quality Pollution Free Vegetable Safety Standards(cadmium < 0.05 mg·kg-1). The cadmium content in different parts of watermelon was leaf > vine > root > fruit.In soil,the cadmium content was within the range of 0.310-9.480 mg·kg-1.Along with the increase of cadmium content in soil, cadmium content in watermelon fruit would increase gradually.When the cadmium content in soil was below 9.480 mg·kg-1, the following 8 watermelon varieties‘Xiangxigua No.11’(‘Dongting No.1’),‘Xiangxigua No.19’ (‘Dongting No.3’),‘Jinlihuang’,‘Lyuhu’,‘Mitong’,‘Dongfangjiaozi’,‘Quanxin No.2’,‘Heimiren’ could be used as the optimal selection of cultivated land restoration and planting structure adjustment in cadmium polluted area.
Taking tomato(Lycopersicon esculentum Mill.)cultivar‘Zhongza105’as experimental material,this paper studied the effects of different sun-shade nets and tranditional black sun-shade nets on inside light and temperature environment,tomato seedling growth and physiological properties.The result showed that with the decreasing of shading rate,photon flux density(PFD),air temperature,5 cm and 10 cm soil temperatures all showed an increasing tendency.Compared with the 50% shading rate of black net,the transmittance of 50% white net was remarkably different.The black sunshade net has higher UV transmittance rate and there were not much differences between the transmittance rates of infrared light and visible light.While the transmittance rates of UV light and part of infrard light of white sun-shade net was significantly lower than the visible light.Therefore,the white sunshade net used as outside shading net of greenhouse could have better cooling effect.Along with the decreasing shading rate,both black and white net treatments were all helpful for increasing plant height,stem diameter,leaf area,total biomass,sound seedling index,root system activity and foliar blade thickness of tomato seedling.Summing up the above,in summer according to the actural condition of tomato seedling development,sunshade nets with shading rate between 20%-40% might be a good choice,among them the white sun-shade net with 20% shading rate had the better effect.
Integrative water and fertilizer planting system for pakchoi〔Brassica campestris L. ssp. chinensis(L.)Makino var. communis Tsen et Lee〕was designed using the non-woven fabric as growing media.Taking‘Yangzhouqing No.1’and‘Gaogengbai’as material,this experiment studies the effects of different nutrient solution concentrations on growth and physiological indexes of pakchoi by split block design. The results indicate that along with the increase of nutrient solution concentrations,the overground fresh weight, soluble sugar content and chlorophyll SPAD value will firstly increase and then decrease,while the root MDA has an opposite tendency-firstly decrease and then increase.125% full price nutrition solution treatment is in favour of upgrading overground fresh weight,soluble sugar content and chlorophyll SPAD value,and maintaining low root MDA value of pakchoi.
Taking 5 pepper of different genotypes as experimental material,after artificial inoculating heavy mosaic strain CMV,we tested the temporal change of CMV content in 5,10,15,20,25,30 days by DASELISA. At the same time,the artificial classification method was used,and we carried out analysis on the correlation of data gained through these 2 methods.The results showed that the virus content increased at 5, 10,15 days in turn,reached the highest level at 15 days.Then,the virus content reduced slightly.The virus content of the plants obtained by DAS-ELISA was positively correlated with the disease index obtained by artificial inoculation.The results obtained by the 2 methods were consistent.
In order to evaluate control effect of Bacillus vallismortis on gray mold of antagonistic bacterium strain NBIF-001,this paper determined its inhibition activity to the pathogen of Botrytis cinerea by dual culture method combined with optical microscope observation;and studied its controlling effects on cucumber leaf grey mold and tomato fruit grey mold by in vitro tissue test.The results showed that the strain NBIF-001 had high inhibition activity in dual culture.Optical microscope study revealed deformation of hyphal and enlargement of cytoplasmic vacuoles.In vitro tissue test shew that NBIF-001 exhibited better biological control effect on cucumber and tomato gray mold.The control effect reached 85.91% and 72.52%, respectively.
Germination is one of the main reasons causing potato storage loss. In order to investigate the sprout inhibition effect of mint essential oil on storaged potato breeder seeds,this paper designed 4 mint essential oil concentration gradient(0,20,50,80 μL·L-1) to treat 3 potato breeder seeds of‘ Yunshu 603’、 ‘Yunshu 401’ and‘ Ziyun No.1’,and measured their germination rates and bud lengths of potato tubers at 0, 13,41,48,66 and 91 days after storage,respectively. The results showed that compared with the contrast, the germination rate and bud length of these 3 potato varieties were significantly decreased after 3 months treatments by mint essential oil and storage under room temperature. When the mint oil concentration reached 80μL·L-1, the germination rates and bud lengths of these 3 potato varieties were all lower than that of the other treatments, showing the rule of the higher concentration of mint essential oil,the more obvious of sprout inhibition effect. But the sprout inhibition effects of‘ Yunshu 401’ treated with the concentration of mint essential oil by 20μL·L-1 and 80μL·L-1 were better than that by 50μL·L-1,showing the fact that besides the concentration of mint essential oil concentration,the potato variety was also related with the sprout inhibition effect.
‘Longjiao No.9’is a new pepper F1 Hybrid developed by crossing inbred line‘ 2009A27’as female parent and inbred line‘2009A15’as male parent. It is of early maturity. Its fruit is of goat-horn shape with green and wrinkle peel. The fruit is 28 cm in length,3.5 cm in width,and 0.3 cm in flesh thickness. The single fruit weight is 69 g . Its fruit tastes spicy and has good commercial quality. It is resistant to Phytophthora blight. It can yield 67.5 t·hm-2. It is suitable for cultivation in protected and open fields in northwest China.
‘Zhengfan 12158’ is an early maturity tomato F1 hybrid developed by crossing‘ 10Y153-Hun1’ as female parent and‘ Pin11’ as male parent. It is of unlimited growth type with strong growth potential. The first flower sets on the 7-8th node,and the space between inflorescences is 3 leaves. Its fruit setting ability is strong. The fruit is of near round shape with high hardness. The tender fruit has light green shoulder. The mature fruit is pink in color. The average single fruit weight is 189 g. The average abnormal dehiscent fruit rate is 6.9%. Its commodity fruit rate is high. The content of soluble solid is 4.9%. It has good quality and tastes moderate sweet and sour. It can yield about 81.5 t·hm-2. It has Ty-1 gene resistant to TY and cf-9 gene resistant to leaf mold. Its comprehensive resistance is strong. It is suitable to be planted in protected fields in spring and early autumn in Henan Province.
‘Xizihongqie’is a new eggplant F1 hybrid developed by crossing‘ E604-8-4-2-8-3-2-1-5’as female parent and‘ E631-9-1-3-6-1-2-5-2’as male parent. This variety grows vigorously and has good fruit setting ability. The fruit is of long and even shape,32-35 cm in length,and about 2.5 cm in width. The single fruit weight is 100 g. The fruit peel is purple red in color with good commodity. It can yield over 57.0 t · hm-2. It is medium resistant to Verticillium wilt and bacterial wilt. It is suitable to be cultivated in winter and spring,and in early spring in protected fields at areas,where people like purple red eggplant in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River.
‘Wujin No.1’ is a new dwarf bean(Phaseolus vulgaris L.) variety,systematically selected from 8 generations after crossing‘ Shakeba 303’ as female parent and‘ Caoyuan No.1’ as male parent. Its whole growth period is 80.1 days. The flower is white in color. The first flower sets on the 4th joint. Its pod is dark green in color with uniform thickness,tendon-free,and concentrated location. The pod number of single plant is 29.3. Its pod is about 12.3 cm in length and the single pod weight is 5.4 g. Its average yield is about 14.25 t · hm-2. It is suitable to be cultivated in open fields in Jiangsu,Anhui and Shandong Provinces.
