    Through analyzing China’s vegetable import and export data from 2020—2022,we understandthat China’s vegetable export amount is growing steadily.The average annual growth rate has reached 9.13%.In 2021,the vegetable export volume was decreased slightly affected by the epidemic.In 2022,after the epidemic situation mitigated,the vegetable export volume was increased to some extent.In import trade,both import value and import volume showed a trend of first rising and then declining,indicating that the rise and fall of vegetable import trade was related to the epidemic.In export market,the export volume of the pillar market with vegetable exports volume over 100 000 tons was affected greater by the epidemic.In export products,the concentration of superior products was obvious.The proportion of auxiliary products was smaller,of which the export volume of fresh and frozen vegetables and processed and preserved vegetables stopped falling and turned up,and dried vegetables and vegetable seeds developed steadily.The number of competitive import markets decreased.The share of imports continued to decline.Advantages imported vegetable products changed greatly.The concentration of import volume was decreased significantly.In addition,in the past 3 years,the average prices of import and export vegetables from China were risen,of which the average prices of import and export processed and fresh-keeping vegetables increased continuously,and that of the other categories also fluctuated.Improving the international competitiveness of China’s agricultural products in the world market, and promoting the development of agricultural modernization still is one of the important methods for expanding the foreign trade market of vegetables in China,and consolidating our major vegetable import markets during the post-epidemic era.

    Directing at the main problems faced by facility vegetable production in Jiangxi Province,this paper conducted in-depth field investigations and studies about facility vegetable successive cropping obstacles,pest and disease prevention and control,renovation of old facilities,facility shed types,and integration of agricultural machinery with agronomy,etc. aspects. This paper got a clear picture referring to the existing difficulties of blocking points in developing facility vegetable production in Jiangxi Province;and explored new ways and new promotion mechanisms suitable for the development of vegetable industry in Jiangxi Province. At the same time,this paper also put forward several countermeasures and suggestions for facility vegetable production in Jiangxi Province,including soil obstacle governance in facility successive cropping,perfecting technical service system,breeding new facility vegetable varieties,upgrading and reforming production bases for facility vegetables,and strengthening regional public brand construction etc.,aiming at providing references for relevant government departments to make strategic decision and serve vegetable production practice,so as to help realizing green and efficient development of facility vegetable industry in Jiangxi Province.

    This paper evaluated and analyzed the bottleneck issue of vegetable seed by visiting vegetable production bases in Jiangsu Province,investigating and surveying enterprises and research institutes of vegetable seed,combined with perennial vegetable variety management situation. On the whole,at present the bottleneck issue of Jiangsu vegetable gernplasm source is not prominent. The source of bulk vegetable is basically controllable. The self-sufficiency rate of domestic seeds is 86.5%.However,there existed certain degrees of bottleneck risk in a few vegetables and their variety types.The major differences between domestic vegetable seeds and imported vegetable seeds are in variety characteristics,seed quality,and brand effect,etc.The main problems affecting Jiangsu vegetable seed industry development are weak ability for variety innovation,weak strength of vegetable seed enterprises,and insufficient supervisory service of seed industry.It is suggested to adopt measures to enhance the ability of variety innovation,support the development of leading enterprises,and perfect the supervisory service system,etc.,so as to further upgrade the development quality of Jiangsu vegetable seed industry and ensure the safety of seed sources.

    In recent years,due to unreasonable irrigation and other environmental factors,soil salinization is becoming increasingly serious,which seriously affects the growth,development and yield of vegetable crops,and limits land use.Salt stress changes the growth and development processes of vegetables,including net photosynthetic productivity,respiration,cell membrane structure and various enzyme activities.In this review,the effects of salt stress on the apparent morphological changes of vegetable crops and the physiological and biochemical indexes of plants were reviewed,and the physiological(including osmoregulation,ion regionalization,and antioxidant metabolism)and molecular(transcription factor,ion homeostasis-related genes,antioxidant genes,and miRNAs)regulations of vegetable response were discussed.The evaluation methods of salt tolerance in various vegetable crops were summarized. The research prospects of salt tolerance in vegetable crops were further prospected.

    Spinach is one of the important economic leafy vegetables in China,with rich nutritional content.With the increasing planting area of spinach year by year,the races of spinach downy mildew pathogen Peronospora effuse are constantly updated,and the occurrence of downy mildew is also becoming increasingly serious,causing significant losses to spinach production.Identifying the races of spinach downy mildew pathogen,screening resistant genes,and breeding resistant varieties are the prerequisites and foundations for solving this problem.This review introduces the differentiation status of Peronospora effuse races,inoculation identification methods,disease index standards and disease resistance grading.It reviews the research progress of breeding process of resistance to downy mildew in spinach,construction of molecular markers,location and analysis of candidate genes,and analyzes the main problems existing in current spinach breeding for resistance to downy mildew.Finally,it looks forward to future development trends.

    In order to explore the effect of CcTLS2 gene in the pathogenesis of Corynespora cassiicola,this paper took the strong pathogenic strain HG14102524 as research object,constructed knockout strain by cloning the CcTLS2 gene of Corynespora cassiicola,and combined with bioinformatics analysis,pathogenicity assay,and differential expression analysis,etc. methods preliminarily determined the effect of CcTLS2 on the pathogenesis of Corynespora cassiicola.Comparing with wild type strain HG14102524,the pathogenicity of gene knockout strain CcTLS2 was lost,colony growth rate slowed down,and sporulation quantity decreased significantly.Relative expression levels of Corynespora cassiicola G protein signaling pathway related genes (A7125,A1402,A0835,A8311 and A2529)in CcTLS2 knockout strains were significantly down regulated.The results showed that CcTLS2 might pass G protein related pathway to affect the sporulation mechanism of Corynespora cassiicola,mycelia growth and pathogenicity,and played an important role in pathogenicity of C. cassiicola.

    In this study,six different crop straws(wheat,maize,Jerusalem artichoke,marigold,potato onion and garlic)together with Paecilomyces lilacinus were chosen as experimental materials. Pot experiment was conducted to evaluate the effects of the straw-Paecilomyces lilacinus combination treatments on tomato seedling growth,root-knot nematode disease,soil nutrient status,soil enzyme activity and soil fungal communities. The results demonstrated that,except for garlic straw,other five crop straws combined with P. lilacinus all promoted the growth of tomato seedlings. Meanwhile,the combination of each six crop straws and P. lilacinus significantly alleviated the root-knot disease on tomato plants with the reduced number of tomato root knots. Soil nutrient status was ameliorated to different degrees with the combination of straws and P. lilacinus in addition. Besides,we also spotted that wheat and Jerusalem artichoke straws significantly improved soil invertase activities. Moreover,Jerusalem artichoke and maize straws increased the relative abundance of plant beneficial fungal genus in the soil. It is well worth mentioning that each combination of crop straws enhanced the colonization of P. lilacinus in soil. In summary,we concluded that the combination of different crop straws can promote the colonization of P. lilacinus in the soil thus improve the biocontrol effect of P. lilacinus against tomato root-knot nematodes. The combination of Jerusalem artichoke straw and P. lilacinus has the best effect among all six combinations,which could be a potential environmental friendly strategy in dealing with tomato root-knot disease in future cropping practice.

    :This study took the aging seeds of ‘Hualanshi’ which is the main cultivar of muskmelon in Ningxia as an experimental material.In order to investigate the effects of priming agents on the seed germination and seedling growth of muskmelon,and to select the optimal priming agent,three kinds of priming agents were selected to treat muskmelon seeds with single or combined treatments.The results of standard germination test showed that both single and combined priming agent could significantly promote the germination of aged muskmelon seeds,and the activity index of muskmelon seeds treated with combined priming agent(5 g · L-1 CaCl2 + 2 g · L-1 MnSO4 · H2 O)was significantly higher than that of control and other treatments.The results of plug seedling suggested that:the combined priming agent significantly promoted the growth of muskmelon seedlings,and significantly increased stem diameter,total fresh weight,total dry weight and seedling strength index of muskmelon seedlings.The seedling strength index of 5 g · L-1 CaCl2 + 2 g · L-1 MnSO4 · H2 O(T4)and 5 g · L-1 CaCl2 + 1.25 g · L-1 water-soluble chitosan(T5)were 2.00 times and 1.89 times that of control(CK1),respectively.At the same time,T5 treatment had the greatest increase in photosynthetic pigment content of leaves,and the root activity in muskmelon seedlings. The principal component analysis also suggested that the optimal treatment was the T5.The combination initiator screened in this experiment can effectively improve the seed vitality of melon,promote seedling growth and enhance seedling quality,which can provide technical support for centralized seedling technology of muskmelon.

    The effects of top light treatment with different light qualities〔NIR(near infrared light),R (red light),G(green light),UV-A(long wave ultraviolet light),B(blue light),red and blue combined light(3R2B,2R3B),W(white light)〕on the growth and fruit quality of Capsicum at night(19:00— 22:00,3:00—6:00)were investigated using Zhangshugang pepper as a test material in a plastic greenhouse.Results demonstrated that compared to the control group without supplementary light,blue light (B)treatment exhibited the most favorable impact on fruit quality.The content of capsaicin,ascorbic acid,flavonoid and carotenoid increased significantly,with increases of 12.35%,46.64%,37.52%,and 18.44% respectively.Additionally,pepper yield per plant significantly improved under B treatment with a remarkable increase of 20.64% compared to the control group.Pearson analysis revealed that fruit dry weight served as an excellent indicator for assessing both growth and fruit quality of capsicum plants.Cluster analysis and principal component analysis demonstrated that red and blue combined light(2R3B,3R2B)along with B alone exhibited superior light qualities while G,ultraviolet light(10U,20U)and NIR showed poor regulation capabilities.A comprehensive evaluation using the membership function method revealed that pepper plants exposed to B treatment had the highest average membership function value among all tested light qualities in facility cultivation.Blue light is the best light environment to improve the growth and fruit quality of pepper.

    Browning is a limiting factor affecting the rapid development of potato processing industry,and the evaluation of browning is of great significance for the breeding of against browning potato varieties and the development of potato fresh cutting and processing.Using 45 potato varieties as experimental materials,10 indexes related to enzymatic browning were measured and combined with correlation analysis,principal component analysis,membership function,and cluster analysis for comprehensive evaluation.The results showed that the enzymatic browning of potatoes could be effectively assessed at 0 h and 6 h by brightness value of potato fresh slices,browning intensity(BD)initial value,and the activity of polyphenol oxidase(PPO).The 45 potato varieties were classified into 5 types based on their ability to resist enzymatic browning,among which 5 were highly resistant to enzymatic browning,9 were moderately resistant to enzymatic browning,18 were medium enzymatic browning,9 were easy to enzymatic browning and 4 were very easy to enzymatic browning.

    In order to identify the pathogenic strains of pepper anthracnose in pepper-producing areas of Sichuan,this experiment collected,isolated and identified pathogens of pepper anthracnose in Ziyang and Yanyuan,etc. 7 pepper-producing areas and adopted mycelium growth rate method to test the indoor toxicities of 10 fungicides on Capsicum anthracnose.This study also adopted in vitro fruit method to measure the control impact of 6 fungicides on Capsicum anthracnose.The results indicated that the isolated pathogens of pepper anthracnose from these 7 pepper-producing areas were all Colletotrichum scovillei.C. scovillei hypha were highly sensitive to prochloraz,tebuconazole,fluconazole,difenoconazole,fluazinam and mycloconazole.All these 6 fungicides had better prevention and control effects on pepper anthracnose.The order of their effects from high to low was prochloraz(95.66%)> tebuconazole(92.43%)> fluconazole(81.00%)> mycloconazole(75.29%)> fluazinam(72.40%)> difenoconazole(67.67%).

    The tomato variety‘Zhongza 302’was selected to investigate the role of Bacillus velezensis(L-S60,L-H15,LPL-117)on the drought tolerance of tomato plug seedlings,which was sown into the substrate with Bacillus velezensis.It was found that compared with the control under drought stress,the height of the tomato plug seedlings was increased by 8.95% to 13.05% and survival rate was increased more than 6 percentage points.Besides,there was no significant difference existed between the three treatment groups.The increase of Mn and Zn content in stems and leaves of L-S60,L-H15 and LPL-117 treatments were respectively more than 30.94%,7.59%,and the decrease of Ca and Mg contents were respectively more than 9.48% and 15.93%.The proline content of leaves in treatment groups of L-S60,L-H15 and LPL-117 increased respectively 62.86%,78.27% and 40.29% on the 3rd day of drought stress,and the malondialdehyde content decreased respectively more than 2.34%,18.96% and 7.94% on the 8th day of drought stress.This indicates that the substrate inoculation with Bacillus velezensis can effectively improve the drought tolerance and promote the growth and development on tomato plug seedlings.

    The green onion variety ‘Dongsenhancong No.2’ was used as experimental material,and the effects of different concentrations of prohexadione calcium(Pro-Ca,200,400,600,800 mg · L-1 )on the quality of green onion seedlings were investigated by measuring the morphological index,chlorophyll content and root activity at seedling stages.The results showed that Pro-Ca could effectively increase the pseudostem diameter,pseudostem length and chlorophyll content of green onion seedlings leaves,enhance root activities,promote root growth,and the appropriate concentration of Pro-Ca was 600 mg · L-1 .Compared with water control treatment,the pseudostem diameter,pseudostem length and root activity of green onion seedlings treated with 600 mg · L-1 Pro-Ca were increased by 22.0%,66.9% and 65.7%,respectively,while the root,pseudostem,leaves and whole plant dry weight were increased by 38.5%,48.4%,34.6% and 37.9%,respectively,at 21 days after treatment.The root shoot ratio,seedling index and total chlorophyll content under 600 mg · L-1 Pro-Ca treatment were increased by 23.0%,37.0% and 19.4% in comparison to 200 mg · L-1 chlormequat chloride(CCC)treatment.In conclusion,the quality of green onion seedlings can be improved by spraying 600 mg · L-1 of Pro-Ca on the leaf surface at seedling stage.

    In order to verify the selenium enrichment and selenium tolerance properties of flower konjac,amorphophallus albus and optimum line ZL-19 from their hybrid offspring;and effects of exogenous selenium on nutrients of Amorphophallus Rivieri corms,this paper carried out root irrigation test with different concentrations of sodium selenite(0,5,10,20,40 mg · kg-1 )using potting method.The results showed that the highest selenium content in corms of different varieties(lines)were as following:Zl-19 was equivalent to amorphophallus albus(0.192 mg · kg-1 ),lower than that of flower konjac(0.265 mg · kg-1 ).In selenium tolerance:ZL-19 > amorphophallus albus > flower konjac.While,in selenium enrichment capacity:flower konjac > ZL-19 > amorphophallus albus.When the concentration of exogenous selenium in flower konjac was 10 mg · kg-1 ,the general performance of various nutritional indexes of the corms were comparatively excellent.And the corm fresh weight was increased by 13.13%.The contents of total sugar,reducing sugar,total protein,soluble protein and GSH-Px activity in corm were 71.265,27.019,50.811,17.605 mg · g-1 and 1.845 U · g-1 ,respectively.When the concentration of exogenous selenium in amorphophallus albus was 20 mg · kg-1 ,the general performance of various nutritional indexes of the corms were comparatively excellent.And the corm fresh weight was increased by 12.94%.The contents of total sugar,reducing sugar,total protein,soluble protein and GSH-Px activity in corms were 97.012,29.632,52.773,16.892 mg · g-1 and 1.642 U · g-1 ,respectively.Also when the concentration of exogenous selenium in ZL-19 was 20 mg · kg-1 ,the general performances of various nutritional indexes of the corms were comparatively excellent.The corm fresh weight was increased by 28.80%.The contents of total sugar,reducing sugar,total protein and soluble protein and GSH-Px activity in corms reached 84.717,31.819,49.402,17.709 mg · g-1 and 1.719 U · g-1 ,respectively.

    Under laboratory condition,this experiment took β-glucan,wheat bran and cell wall of Fusarium oxysporum as the only carbon source to induce Trichoderma harzianum Th-30 fermentation and β-glucanase production,and isolate and purify β-glucanase by ammonium sulfate salting out and agarose gel column chromatography.Taking ‘Jinyan 4’ cucumber as test material,this experiment also explored the effects of β-glucanase on physiological and morphological indexes of resistance,and prevention and control function of cucumber seedling on common soil-borne diseases of cucumber.The results showed that the activities of β-glucanase from Trichoderma Th-30 fermentation induced under different conditions were significantly different.The enzyme activity of crude enzyme liquid induced by β-glucan was the highest,reaching 75.63 U · mL-1 at 72 h of fermentation.The specific activity of purified β-glucanase was 783.56 U · mg-1 ,being 45.32 times of the crude enzyme.The treatments of 5-fold solution and 10-fold solution of β-glucanase could increase the root activity and free proline content,PAL,POD,and PPO activities of cucumber seedling,as well as the root shoot ratio and healthy seedling strength index,and the control effects of 10-fold solution of β-glucanase on cucumber Rhizoctonia root rot,cucumber Fusarium wilt,cucumber blight,cucumber damping-off,cucumber stem rot were 50.36%-80.63%.

    ‘Zhengfan 1733’is a new early maturity tomato F1 hybrid developed by taking‘13Y12-36- 8-12-hun-9-32-hun-hun’as female parent and‘14A4-66-18-6-53-hun-hun’as male parent.It belongs to infinite growth type,and strong plant growth potential.The commodity fruit is pink in color,and the younger one has green shoulder.The fruit is of round shape,with a fruit type index of 0.86 and high hardness.The single fruit average weight is 101 g.The soluble solid content is 7.3%,lycopene content is 239.0 mg · kg-1 ,VC content is 287.0 mg · kg-1 ,and total acid content is 0.78%.It contains I2,Mi1.2,Ve1,Ve2 homozygous resistance gene,and Ty1,Bwr12,Frl949,Mi23,Sm,Tm2 heterozygous resistance gene.It is resistant to TYLCV,TMV,CMV,leaf mold,blight,and root-knot nematode.The average production is about 72 t ·hm-2 .It is suitable for planting in spring and autumn plastic tunnel,and overwinter greenhouses in Henan,Shandong,Hebei Province.

    ‘Leijiao No.1’is a new pepper F1 hybrid of medium maturity developed by local variety‘Yangjiaohong’of Jize in Hebei Province as female parent and self-inbred line‘Leixian 1818’as male parent.The compact plant average height is 61.3 cm and width is 56.1 cm.Horn shape fruit surface is smooth and mature fruit is red.The average length is 17.99 cm,width is 2.38 cm,and flesh thickness is 0.15 cm.The average single fruit weight is 28.6 g,and the per plant fruit number is 68.It has good continuous fruit setting ability,resistant to CMV,TMV,blight and anthrax.The VC content is 1 776.0 mg · kg-1 ,and capsaicin content is 0.03%.It is suitable for open field cultivation of spring in Hebei(except Tangshan and Qinhuangdao),Shanxi,Shandong,Henan,Shaanxi and Xinjiang areas,with the yield about 30 t · hm-2 fresh pepper.

    ‘Guinongkeyu No.1’is a new bitter gourd cultivar developed by 60Co-γ radiation and molecular marker assisted selection induced strong female strain‘MC1-1-12’.It has strong vigorous growth potential.The main and lateral vines can bear melon and the ability of sustained fruiting is strong.The fruit is short stick shape,light yellow in color,mainly with strips and round nodules,moderate bitterness.It is about 25.40 cm in length,7.10 cm in width,1.10 cm in flesh thickness,and 450 g in individual fruit weight.The commodity rate is more than 92%.The general cultivation yield is about 48 t · hm-2 .It takes about 65 days from sowing to first harvesting,early maturity.It is resistant to powdery mildew,and medium resistant to Fusarium wilt.The VC content is 1 021.60 mg · kg-1 ,polypeptide content is 0.42 mg · g-1 ,and saponins content is 16.85 mg ·g-1 .It is suitable for spring and autumn cultivation in open field or facility cultivation in south China.

    ‘Jikenuo 20’is a new fresh waxy corn F1 hybrid developed by crossing inbred line‘JN111’as female parent and inbred line‘JN203’as male parent.It is of medium-early maturity.Its growth period is about 87 days in spring.Its plant type is semi-compact,with strong growth vigor.The average plant height is 238 cm,and ear position height is 109 cm.Its ear is long tube type,with 22.1 cm in length and 14-16 rows per ear.The grain is white and waxy.The weight of 100 grains is 41.9 g.The amylose accounted takes up 2.84% of the crude starch content,and the skin residue rate is 5.97%(FW).It is medium resistant to leaf bligh,head smut,and stem rot.Its fresh ear yield is about 13.5 t · hm-2 .It is suitable to be cultivated in the middle to late maturing areas of fresh waxy corn in Jilin Province.
