The construct using inverted repeat sequences of the coat protein gene of TuMV was designed,and introduced into Sijiucaixin via Agrobacterium tumefaciens-mediated transformation system.13 positive transformants were obtained through PCR analysis.The transgenic efficiency was up to 2 %.

Leaf Proteomic Analysis of Pepper Cytoplasmic Male Sterility and Maintainer Lines during Flowering

Using two-dimensional gel electrophoresis(2D-PAGE) and MALDI-TOF-MS analysis,maps of leaf proteins from cytoplasmic male sterility(CMS) and maintainer lines of pepper were obtained and analysised.The results indicated there were several different protein spots,which may be related to male sterility of botany,distinguishing the leaves of CMS and maintainer lines during flowering.
