Analydid of Amino Acid Contents in Tai-tsai Varieties

Kinds and contents of amino acids were analyzed with four tai-tsai varieties.The results indicated that there were seven kinds of essential amino acid to human body in tai-tsai,and aliphatic amino acid was the main component in tai-tsai,aromatic and indolyl amino acid also accounted for a large proportion.

Nutrient Components in Leaflets and Petioles of Water Dropwort

The Pathogens and the Biological Characterstics from Yellowing and Wilted Eggplant in Part of Beijing Area

A New Cucumber F1 Hybrid—‘Shuiguohuanggua No.1’

Shuiguohuanggua No.1 is a new cucumber F1 hybrid developed by crossing 456-5-12hun with 79033-18-2-3-1-2-5-1hun.It grows vigorously.The average fruit weight is about 115 g.Fruits are green,sweet and crispy with highly marketable percentage.The fruit neck is about 2.3 cm which is about 1/7 of the fruit length.Its yield is 112.5 t·hm-2.It has stronger resistance to powdery mildew,augular leaf spot,downy mildew and Fusarium wilt than cuilu,xintaimici and qingyanhuanggua No.1.

A New Sponge Gourd F1 Hybrid—‘Zaoyou No.3’

Zaoyou No.3 is a new sponge gourd F1 hybrid developed by crossing female parent S-03-8 with male parent S-03-98.The first fruit occures at 6th-8th nodes and the fruit setting ability is strong.The fruit is short with green skin,tender flesh and sweet taste.The average fruit is 23 cm in length and 5.5 cm in diameter and 476 g in weight.Its yield is about 45 t·hm-2.

A New Watermelon F1 Hybrid—‘Huadu'

Huadu is an early maturing watermelon F1 hybrid developed by crossing XH-15 as female parent with BM-16 as male parent.The fruit is round,green rind with dark green indention stripes and red flesh.The average fruit weight is 5-7 kg.The total yield is 60 t·hm-2.It has stronger resistance to anthracnose and Fusarium wilt than Jingxin No.1.It is suitable for cultivation in early spring.

A New Watermelon F1 Hybrid—'kaixuan'

Kaixuan is a new watermelon F1 hybrid with mid-maturity.It has 105 days of the whole growth period and 33 days of fruit developing period.The variety has oval-shaped fruits with fruit index of 1.43,green stripe skin.The central soluble solid contents is 12.4 %.The average watermelon weighs 7-8 kg and the average output is 52.5 t·hm-2.The thousand seed mass is about 68 g.

A New Pakchoi F1 Hybrid—‘Jinglv No.7’

Jinglu No.7 is a new pakchoi F1 Hybrid bred by crossing two self-incompatible lines Y134 and Y105.The leaf is dark green and the petiole is green with 5.7 cm in width and 1.0 cm in thickness.The average plant weight is about 0.25 kg and its yield is 36 t·hm-2.It is high resisitant to black rot,resistant to virus,black leaf spot rot and tolerant to bolting.It is suitable for cultivation in winter and spring in the north of China.

A New Chinese Cabbage F1 Hybrid—'Dongnong 907'
Zhang Yaowei
Dongnong 907 is a new Chinese cabbage F1 hybrid developed by crossing inbred line 23-2 with self-incompatible line 88-4-1.It is mid-maturity.Its head shape index is 1.5.It takes only 70 days from sowing to harvest,The single plant weight is about 3.0-3.5 kg.The rate of clear vegetable is 78.2 %.The net yield is about 82.5 t·hm-2.It is resistant to TuMV,soft rot and downy mildew.It is suitable for cultivation in Heilongjiang,Jilin,Inner Mongolia and Yunnan.

The literature of Chinese cabbage were reviewed and revised.AFLP technique was used for analyzing and comparing the genome relationship between Chinese cabbage and turnip by cluster analysis.The F3 population from the cross of Zhongqingmaye(Chinese cabbage)with Siyueman(pakchoi)existed many different morphological individuals and white seedlings.The F9(selfed progeny)occured variation of overlaped head leaf.
